Two-time Olivier Award-winner Zoë Wanamaker will return to the West End for Peter Nichols‘ Passion Play, to be directed by David Leveaux at the Duke of York’s Theatre. The production is set to run May 1 through August 3, with an opening on May 7.
The play concerns a comfortably married couple whose world is upended when the husband agrees to a secret rendezvous with a recently widowed friend.
Wanamaker won Oliviers for Electra and Once in a Lifetime, and is a four-time Tony nominee for Piaf!, Loot, Electra, and Awake And Sing!
