YouTube Star Chester See Joins Broadway's Rock of Ages

Chester See, a YouTube performer with over 1.5 million subscribers, will make his Broadway debut as Stacee Jaxx in the musical Rock of Ages beginning October 27 at the Helen Hayes Theatre. See's engagement in the show concludes January 4.

With over 160 million channel views, See won a 2014 Streamy Award for his original song "Whistle While I Work It." He has six other Streamy nominations and a degree in Theater Arts from UCLA. He starred in the popular web series Side Effects for DreamWorks' AwesomenessTV and hosted Disney 365 for the Disney Channel.

Mitchell Jarvis, who currently plays the role of Stacee Jaxx in the heavy-metal musical, will end his run on October 26. The show's current Broadway cast also includes Constantine Maroulis as Drew, Carrie St. Louis as Sherrie, Genson Blimline as Lonny, Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, Cody Scott Lancaster as Franz, Josephine Rose Roberts as Regina, Paul Schoeffler as Hertz, and Teresa Stanley as Justice.
