Victory Gardens Theater Announces Casting for Never the Sinner

Victory Gardens Theater has announced the next show of its 41st season, Never the Sinner. Written by Tony winner John Logan (Red, The Last Ship) and directed by Gary Griffin (Honeymoon in Vegas, The Color Purple), Never the Sinner will run from November 6-December 6 at the Biograph Theater. Opening night is set for November 13.

The play takes place in 1924 Chicago. Two handsome, wealthy college students are accused of violently murdering a 14-year-old boy. Questions about the men arise in this courtroom drama: Are these two successful men capable of murder? What demons could drive this pair to commit such a brutal act?

The cast of Never the Sinner includes Japhet Balaban, Bill Bannon, Jordan Brodess, Celeste Cooper, Derek Hasenstab, Keith Kupferer, and Demetrios Troy.
