Victor Garber to Be Honored at 2018 Theatre World Awards

The 2018 Theatre World Awards will honor Hello, Dolly! star Victor Garber at its annual ceremony, set to take place Monday, June 4, at 2pm at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
Garber will receive the sixth annual John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, in honor of celebrating his 46th year on the Broadway stage. Previous recipients of the John Willis Award include Glenn Close, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera, Christopher Plummer, and Alan Alda.
This year's Theatre World Awards will be hosted by Peter Filichia and directed by Stephen Nachamie. Owing to the beachfront set of Once on This Island at the Circle in the Square, the attire for the afternoon is described as "festive island wear." A party will follow at the Copacabana Rooftop.
