Venice, Matt Sax and Eric Rosen’s futuristic riff on Shakespeare’s Othello, celebrated its opening night at the Public Theater on Thursday, June 13 with a post-performance party in the lobby of the company’s Lafayette Street home. Haaz Sleiman, Jennifer Damiano, and Leslie Odom Jr. lead the company of the new rap-infused musical, which runs in the Public’s Anspacher Theater through June 30.
