Under the Radar Announces Full Programming for 2027 Festival

Under the Radar has announced the full programming lineup for its 2027 festival, which will take place January 6-24 across New York City.

The 2027 edition marks the largest iteration of the festival to date, bringing together dozens of cultural institutions and more than 40 works spanning theater, performance art, dance, live music, new media, and, for the first time, filmmaking.

Among the festival highlights are the return of Sarah Jones’s America, Who Hurt You?, running January 6-24 at the Public Theater, and the Goat Exchange’s Time Passes (for Ellen Brody) and Deadclass, Ohio, also presented with the Public, January 6-15.

Other programming includes Morgan Bassichis: In Concert with Amy Winehouse, presented with Joe’s Pub January 13-17; Zora Howard’s The Master’s Tools at the Flea, January 8-24; Julia Jarcho’s Pity Whore, presented by Minor Theater with NYU Skirball, January 13-16; and Suzanne Bocanegra’s Honor, an Artist Lecture by Suzanne Bocanegra starring Lili Taylor, directed by Geoff Sobelle, presented with Theatre for a New Audience at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center January 13-31.

There will also be productions by the Wooster Group, 600 Highwaymen, and artists including Paul Lazar, Tony Torn, and others.
