The production stars Tony nominee Max von Essen.
Off-Broadway's Mint Theater has announced that Stephen Schnetzer has joined the cast of Miles Malleson's 1933 comedy Yours Unfaithfully. Schnetzer replaces John Hutton, who has bowed out due to a scheduling conflict.
The play is described as an "intimate peek behind the closed doors of an open marriage. Stephen and Anne, blissfully happy for eight years, are committed to living up to their ideals. When Stephen, a writer who isn’t writing, begins to sink into a funk of unproductive moodiness, Anne encourages him to seek out a fresh spark."
Yours Unfaithfully was published in 1933 but never produced, making the Mint's production the play's world premiere. The current company is led by Todd Cerveris, Mikaela Izquierdo, Elisabeth Gray, and Tony Award nominee Max von Essen.
