Ben Vereen and Stephanie J. Block will perform at the National Corporate Theatre Fund’s 2011 Chariman’s Awards Gala, to be held at St. Regis New York on Monday, May 2 beginning at 6:30pm. As previously announced, Lewis Black will host the event.
In addition to the entertainment, the fundraiser will feature an awards ceremony, for which Anika Noni Rose, Kathleen Marshall, Richard Thomas and Benjamin Moore will serve as presenters.
As previously reported, the honorees at the event will be Tony and Oscar winner Joel Gray, who will receive the 2011 Theater Artist Award; Charles Dillingham, the Managing Director of Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, who will receive the Achievement in Theatre Award, and global financial services company BNY Mellon, which will be honored with the Corporate Leadership Award.
