St. Ann's Warehouse Extends All-Female Henry IV

The Donmar Warehouse production is directed by Phyllida Lloyd.

St. Ann's Warehouse has extended its New York engagement of the Donmar Warehouse's all-female Henry IV through December 13. The production was originally scheduled to close December 6.

Reuniting Tony-nominated Mary Stuart collaborators Dame Harriet Walter and Phyllida Lloyd, the production sets Shakespeare's two-part history play in a women's prison. Lloyd directs a company led by Walter as King Henry, alongside Jade Anouka as Hotspur, Clare Dunne as Prince Hal, Jenny Jules as Worcester, Susan Wokoma as Poins and the Earl of Douglas, Jackie Clune as Westmorland and Glendower, Shiloh Coke as Mortimer, Karen Dunbar as Vernon and Bardolph, Zainab Hasan as Hostess, Sharon Rooney as Lady Percy and Gadshill, Sophie Stanton as Falstaff, and Carolina Valdés as Northumberland.

Henry IV is designed by Bunny Christie with Ellen Nabarro (set), Deborah Andrews (costumes),
James Farncombe (lights), and Tom Gibbons (sound). Movement direction is by Ann Yee and fight
direction is by Kate Waters.
