Ars Nova has announced the lineup of productions set for its 2016 season, which will include two off-Broadway productions.

First, Ars Nova will present the world premiere of The Wildness (February 16-March 19), a Rock Fairy Tale directed by Tony nominee Sam Buntrock, written by and featuring Brooklyn-based band Sky-Pony, fronted by Lauren Worsham (Drama Desk Award winner for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), with songs penned by Kyle Jarrow. The production will be presented in collaboration with the Play Company. Then, the New York premiere of Underground Railroad Game will come to the stage in fall 2016, created and performed by Jennifer Kidwell and Scott Sheppard in association with Lightning Rod Special.

John Early will host SHOWGASM XXL, for one night only in April 2016. The event will feature Ars Nova All Stars as well as celebrity guests to be announced. ANT Fest, Ars Nova’s festival of All New Talent, will kick off the summer with a new adventure every night, featuring the next wave of Ars Nova’s breakthrough artists during four weeks of comedy, music, and theater mash-ups.
