The Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot will now begin previews at Studio 54 on April 3 (as opposed to the previously announced April 10), with the official opening date remaining April 30. The production will be directed by Anthony Page.

As previously announced, the play will star Tony Award winners Bill Irwin and Nathan Lane as Vladimir and Estragon, with John Goodman as Pozzo, David Strathairn as Lucky, and Matthew Schechter as Boy.

The creative team includes Santo Loquasto (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), and Peter Kaczorowski (lighting). Page won the Tony Award for A Doll’s House, and his other Broadway credits include Inadmissible Evidence, The Caretaker, Heartbreak House, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He previously directed Godot for London’s Royal Court Theatre.
