At the show’s after-party, Radcliffe and Griffiths celebrated with director Thea Sharrock and castmates Carolyn McCormick, who plays Alan’s mother Dora, and Anna Camp, who plays Alan’s love interest, Jill Mason.
Kate Mulgrew gives an intense performance as magistrate Hesther Saloman.
Lorenzo Pisoni stands out in the dual roles as lead horse Nugget and the mysterious rider who sets Alan on his obsession with horses.
Here’s playwright Peter Shaffer, whose other celebrated works include The Royal Hunt of the Sun and Amadeus.
First-nighter Roberta Maxwell played the role of Jill in the show’s original 1974 Broadway production.
