Release Dates Set for Clinton The Musical Cast Album

The musical starred Tony nominee Kerry Butler as Hillary Clinton.

Ghostlight Records has announced release dates for the the original cast album of Clinton The Musical. The recording will be released digitally on Friday, October 30, with international digital release and physical CDs hitting online and stores on Friday, November 20. Dean Sharenow and Paul Hodge serve as producers of the album, with Kari Lynn Hearn serving as executive producer.

Written by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, Clinton The Musical follows Bill and Hillary Clinton on their quest to save the presidency after a major scandal. The show premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and was further developed by director Dan Knechtges for a 2015 mounting that ran at New World Stages.

The cast of Clinton the Musical included Kerry Butler (Hillary Clinton), Tom Galantich (W.J. Clinton), Duke Lafoon (Billy Clinton), Judy Gold (Eleanor Roosevelt), John Treacy Egan (Newt Gingrich), Veronica Kuehn (Monica Lewinsky), Kevin Zak (Kenneth Starr), Kara Guy, and Dale Hensley.

Clinton The Musical closed June 21 after 15 previews and 86 performances off-Broadway.
