The Players Club of Swathmore Theater has announced casting for The Trojan Women, the next offering in its Second Stage season, to be presented January 23-31. Joseph P. Southard will direct.
Euripides’ play focuses on the plight of the women held captive after the fall of Troy, and is an exploration of the ugliness of war and the human struggle for survival.
The cast will feature Gene D’Alessandro as Talthybius, John Foelster as Menelaus, Jim Fryer as Poseidon, Jillian Haas as Casandra, Jacqueline Holloway as Helen of Troy, Anjoli Santiago as Andromanche, and Kathie Coll Senkow as Hecuba.
