PHOTO FLASH: Raul Esparza, Mariska Hargitay, Liza Minnelli at Leap of Faith Opening

On Thursday, April 26, the new Broadway musical, Leap of Faith, opened at the St. James Theatre with Christopher Ashley at the helm and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

First nighters included Cory Booker, Jim Dale, Mariska Hargitay, Marcy Harriell, Joshua Henry, Peter Hermann, Jackie Hoffman, Melissa Manchester, Liza Minnelli, David Hyde Pierce, Tony Roberts, Susan Sullivan, Tamara Tunie, Lea Salonga, and Ben Vereen.

Raúl Esparza and Jessica Phillips star, along with additional principal cast members Talon Ackerman (Jake McGowan), Krystal Joy Brown (Ornella Sturdevant), Kendra Kassebaum (Sam Nightingale), Kecia Lewis-Evans (Ida Mae Sturdevant), and Leslie Odom, Jr. (Isaiah Sturdevant).
