David Ives’ Venus in Fur reopened on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre following a month-long hiatus, on Tuesday, February 7.
Nina Arianda and Hugh Dancy once again star in the comedy, about an egomaniacal playwright/director who meets his match when a mysterious actress arrives for an audition.
Directed by Walter Bobbie, Venus in Fur originated at Off-Broadway’s Classic Stage Company in 2010 before playing a limited Broadway run in the fall of 2011 at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
