Transport Group honored playwright Douglas Carter Beane and lyricist Lewis Flinn at their annual benefit Gimme A Break!, held on Monday, December 5 at Asia Society and Museum. The pair are the co-creators of Lysistrata Jones, which the theater premiered earlier this year and which is now in previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway.

Guests and performers at the benefit included Brad Alexander, Michael Arden, Stanley Bahorek, Kerry Butler, David Greenspan, Julie Halston, Jonathan Hammond, Jackie Hoffman, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Adam Mathias, Andrew Rannells, Alexandra Silber, Mary Testa, and Barbara Walsh as well as artistic director Jack Cummings III and executive director Lori Fineman.
