Here’s Harnick again, with Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas…

…and here he is yet again with another Broadway musical legend, composer Charles Strouse.

Among those on hand to fête Harnick were his wife Margie (center), pictured here with Randy Graff (left), who co-stars in the current Broadway production of the Bock & Harnick classic Fiddler on the Roof, and Glenn Close, who was in one of Harnick’s few Broadway flops: Rex.

Also in attendance at the Harnick tribute were Joseph Stein (left), who wrote the book of Fiddler on the Roof, seen here with veteran Broadway musical arranger Peter Howard…

…and two generations of Broadway Cunegondes: Barbara Cook, right, who starred in the original 1956 production of Leonard Bernstein’s Candide (as well as in the original 1963 production of the Bock & Harnick musical She Loves Me), and opera star Harolyn Blackwell, who starred in the 1997 Broadway revival of Candide…
