Original Broadway A Chorus Line Cast Members Meet Their Hollywood Bowl Counterparts

On July 29, the cast of the 2016 Hollywood Bowl production of A Chorus Line met members of the original 1975 Broadway cast backstage. See the L.A. cast members side by side with the original Broadway cast members who created their roles in the photo below.

The Hollywood Bowl presentation of A Chorus Line ran for three performances only on July 29, 30, and 31. The show was directed and choreographed by Baayork Lee, who appeared as Connie Wong in the original Broadway cast and choreographed the Broadway revival in 2006.

The company featured A Chorus Line Broadway vets Mario Lopez as Zach, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, Mara Davi as Maggie Winslow, and Jason Tam as Paul San Marco as well as Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich, Sabrina Bryan (The Cheetah Girls) as Valerie Clark, Robert Fairchild (An American in Paris) as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff (Falsettos) as Larry, Ross Lynch (Teen Beach Movie) as Mark Anthony, Denis Lambert (Doctor Zhivago) as Gregory Gardner, J. Elaine Marcos (Annie) as Connie Wong, and Leigh Zimmerman (Chicago) as Sheila Bryant, and more.

Conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line has a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban.
