The Broadway production of Newsies will hold open call auditions for ensemble spots, as well as a standby for the role of Jack Kelly, from July 9-14 in New York City. The production will also accept online videos uploaded to YouTube for those unable to make it to New York in person.

The production is seeking men who are “true triple threats,” ages 16-22 to cover on-stage ensemble Newsie boys, as well as male and female singers and dancers. The Jack Kelly standby is required to be aged 17-22 and a pop tenor.

Newsies features a score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, with a book by Harvey Fierstein. The musical currently stars Jeremy Jordan, Kara Lindsay, Ben Fankhauser, and Andrew Keenan-Bolger.
