You fell in love with the 1992 Disney movie; now see it live on stage!
Set in New York City at the turn of the last century, Newsies tells the story of the “Newsboy Strike of 1899,” when a group of ragtag Newspaper carriers staged a strike against Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst when the two publishing tycoons conspired to raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense. You’ll revel in the magic of 19th Century labor relations and cute dancers in flat caps with this high-energy musical extravaganza. The show features the same hit songs from the movie including “Carrying the Banner,” “King of New York,” and “Santa Fe.”
