New Conservatory Theatre is set to present the Bay Area premiere of Slipping by Daniel Talbott, May 18-July 1. Andrew Nance will direct.
In Slipping, high school senior Eli is alone, numb, and friendless after the violent death of his father. When he moves with his mom from San Francisco to Iowa, a new relationship with a boy at school exposes Eli again to the possibility of closeness and the danger of being swallowed by it.
The cast will feature Benjamin Ismail (Jake), Evan Johnson (Eli), Fernando Navales (Chris), and Stacy Thunes (Jan).
