Michael C. Hall to Star in Will Eno's Skittles Musical on Super Bowl Sunday

The production will be directed by Sarah Benson, artistic director of Soho Rep.

Michael C. Hall will star in the Mars Wrigley Confectionery's upcoming Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical at Town Hall on Super Bowl Sunday.

Hall will take on the leading role in the production, which is written by his frequent collaborator, Pulitzer finalist Will Eno. The pair have previously collaborated on the recent revival of Thom Pain (based on Nothing) and the Broadway production of The Realistic Joneses.

A promotional event in lieu of a traditional Super Bowl television commercial, the 1pm, half-hour show on February 3 will serve as the musical's only performance. It will have a book by Eno and Nathaniel Lawlor, a score by Lawlor (lyrics) and Drew Gasparini (music), direction by Sarah Benson (artistic director of off-Broadway's Soho Rep), choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, scenic design by Amy Rubin, costume design by Ásta Bennie Hostetter, lighting design by Amith Chandrashaker, sound by Mikaal Sulaiman, props by Ray Wetmore, musical direction by Madeline Smith, and stage management by Justin Scribner.

Joining Hall in the company are Melvin Abston, Max Chernin, Ashkon Davaran, Lulu Fall, Stephanie Gibson, David Hess, Mylinda Hull, Miguel Jarquin-Moreland, Howard Kaye, Kathie Kneese, Raymond J. Lee, Julia Macchio, Will Mann, Mike McGowan, Gayle Turner, and Mark Zimmerman.

Mars Wrigley Confectionery US, LLC will donate 100% of the purchase price, less third-party handling and convenience fees, to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, along with a donation of up to $50,000 of its own.
