The winners of Steve Silver Foundation and Beach Blanket Babylon Scholarship for the Arts

Jo Schuman Silver, producer of Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon has announced the winners of The Steve Silver Foundation and Beach Blanket Babylon Scholarship for the Arts.

This year’s winners are Aragon High School’s Mariko Ishikawa for dance, Santa Rosa High School’s Nicolas Chuba for acting, and Sonoma Academy’s Jake Brinskele for voice.

The scholarship, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, was given to these three winners after they were selected from nine finalists who performed in the live competition at Club Fugazi. Each winner received $10,000 towards his or her college education.
