Full casting has been announced for Anya Reiss’ previously announced new version of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, playing November 8-December 1 at Southwark Playhouse. Russell Bolam will direct.
The production is Chekhov’s tale of a successful actress who visits her brother’s isolated estate far from the city, retold for the 21st century.
The cast will include Michael Beckley, Emily Dobbs, Joseph Drake, Anthony Howell, Downton Abbey‘s Lily James, Julia St John, Olivier-Award Winner Matthew Kelly, Ben Moor, Malcolm Tierney, and Sasha Waddell.
