
Kyle Dean Massey will join the cast of the Broadway musical Xanadu on Tuesday, April 15. He will replace Curtis Holbrook (in multiple roles), who will play his final performance Sunday, April 13.
Xanadu, based on the 1980 movie of the same title, has a book by Douglas Carter Beane and is directed by Christopher Ashley. The score, by John Farrar and Jeff Lynne, includes the pop hits “Magic,” “Xanadu,” “Party All Over the World,” and “I’m Alive.” It stars Kerry Butler, Cheyenne Jackson, Tony Roberts, Jackie Hoffman, and Mary Testa.
Massey will be making his Broadway debut in Xanadu. His previous credits include the national tour of Wicked, the off-Broadway production of Altar Boyz, and the North American and Japan tour of 42nd Street.
