Kristine Nielsen Receives Surprise Sardi’s Caricature

The cast of Broadway’s Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike helped honor the 2013 Tony Award nominee on August 21.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike star Kristine Nielsen was surprised with a caricature at the famed theater-district eatery Sardi’s on Wednesday, August 21. The ceremony, hosted by her costar David Hyde Pierce, was kept a secret until Nielsen, thinking she was about to take part in an interview, arrived following the comedy’s matinee performance. The result was a tearful celebration and an honor well-deserved!
