Chenoweth takes the stage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in ”My Love Letter to Broadway”.
Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth returns to Broadway tonight, November 2, in her new concert My Love Letter to Broadway. The show is set to run through November 13 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, just weeks after the September 23 release of her new album, The Art of Elegance.
My Love Letter to Broadway is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, with musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell and costume design by Christian Siriano.
Best known on Broadway for originating the role of Glinda in the hit musical Wicked, Chenoweth was most recently seen on Broadway in the 2015 revival of On the Twentieth Century, for which she received a Drama Desk Award and a Tony nomination. She earned a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award in 1999 for her performance as Sally in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also performed in Broadway productions of Steel Pier, Epic Proportions, The Apple Tree, and Promises, Promises.
Her television credits include Glee, The West Wing, Pushing Daisies (for which she won an Emmy Award), and the Disney Channel original movie Descendants, among others. She will costar in the upcoming live television broadcast of Hairspray on December 7.
