Kerry Butler, Ben Davis, and More Round Out Off-Broadway's Heathers Cast

Complete casting is set for the upcoming off-Broadway revival of Heathers the Musical at New World Stages.

Newly announced are Kerry Butler as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Ben Davis as Ram’ Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper, Cameron Loyal as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan, Erin Morton as Martha, Xavier McKinnon as Ram, Cade Ostermeyer as Kurt, and Sara Al-Bazali (Standby Veronica Sawyer, Heather Chandler), Emma Benson (Swing), James Caleb Grice (Beleaguered Geek/Officer McCord), Louis Griffin (Swing), Devin Lewis (Hipster Dork), Kiara Michelle Lee (Young Republicanette), Brian Martin (Preppy Stud/Officer Milner), Lav Raman (Swing), Syd Sider (Stoner Chick), and Cecilia Trippiedi (New Wave Party Girl).

They join the previously announced Lorna Courtney as Veronica, Casey Likes as J.D, McKenzie Kurtz as Heather Chandler, Olivia Hardy as Heather Duke, and Elizabeth Teeter as Heather McNamara.

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning musical features a book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, and is based on the 1989 cult film of the same name, starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. After runs in Los Angeles and New York more than a decade ago, director Andy Fickman’s revamped version of the show ran in the UK at the Other Palace and in the West End in 2018 and 2021. The show then ran from 2021 to 2023 back at the Other Palace, with three tours also taking place and a West End run in 2024.

It will start performances on June 22, 2025 at New World Stages, Stage I, for a limited engagement through September 28.

The production has choreography by Gary Lloyd, additional choreography by Stephanie Klemons, set and costume Design by David Shields, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Dan Samson. Music Supervisor is Will Joy. Music Director is Mona Seyed-Bolorforosh. Associate Director is Taylor Haven Holt. Fight Director is Lisa Connell. Intimacy Coordinator is Rebecca Reaney.
