Lythgoe Family Panto and Pasadena Playhouse present the family show at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Beauty and the Beast – A Christmas Rose, presented by Lythgoe Family Panto, in association with Pasadena Playhouse at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium has released its first set of photos after beginning performances yesterday, December 13. The production will run through December 24.
The production stars Kelli Berglund (Disney XD's Lab Rats) as Belle, James Snyder (If/Then) as Gus, Harrison White (The Lion King) as Dame Chanel, Jonah Platt as the Beast, Gedde Watanabe as Maurice, Jared Gertner as Pierre, and John Tartaglia as Bistro. Performed in the style of a traditional British family Panto, the production is an updated take on the classic Beauty and the Beast story, with contemporary music.
The ensemble features Jessica Richens, Jennifer Bermeo, Alyse Rockett, Annie Gratton, Wally Pham, Branson Hudson, Darnell Joseph, and Mason Trueblood. The Youth Ensemble features Emmanuel Martin Lewis, J.D. Bering, Caden Miller, Bryanna Fernandez, Madison Han, Yasmine Arya, Cameron Steen, Cody Copley, Joshua E. Guerrero, Layla Krugh, Brooklyn Bustamante, and Lexi Hernandez.
Beauty and the Beast – A Christmas Rose is directed by Sheldon Epps and choreographed by Mandy Moore, with book by Kris Lythgoe and music direction and arrangements by Michael Orland. Bonnie Lythgoe will serve as executive director and oversee the production.
