Lucie Jones to Star in 13 Going on 30 - The Musical in Toronto

Lucie Jones will star as Jenna Rink in the North American premiere of 13 Going on 30 – The Musical, which is set to perform December 1 through January 24, 2027 at the Princess of Wales Theatre as part of the 2026-27 Mirvish season.

Based on the 2004 film, 13 Going on 30 – The Musical is about Jenna, an awkward 13-year-old who desperately wants to skip over her high school years. When she suddenly wakes up a 30-year-old editor of a fashion magazine, it seems she has gotten her wish. But these things always have a catch.

The book is by screenwriters Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, with songs by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (First Date). Andy Fickman (Heathers) directs the production, with choreography by Jennifer Weber (& Juliet).

Jones originated the role of Jenna at Manchester Opera House and was nominated for a 2026 WhatsOnStage Award for her performance.

Jones will be joined by Dom Simpson as Matt Flamhaff, Grace Mouat as Lucy Wyman, Caleb Roberts as Richard, Andrew Berlin as Kyle Grandy, Morgan Scott as Wayne, Katharine Pearson as Bev, and Iván Fernández González as Darius Mark.

The ensemble includes Takaiyah Bailey, Jordan Calloway, Peter Camilleri, Amara Campbell, Henry Lawes, Sunny Lee, Kerri Norville, Rose Mary O’Reilly, Sam Jeffrey Parkes, Alex Tranter, Zaya Tserenbat, Aidan Watson, and Amy Webb.
