Katie Rose Clarke, Carrie St. Louis, Quinn Titcomb to Play Dolly Parton in New Musical

Dolly Parton announced the trio of actors who will play her in this summer’s world premiere of Dolly: An Original Musical in Nashville.

Katie Rose Clarke (Miss Saigon), Carrie St. Louis (Titanique), and Quinn Titcomb (Waitress) will each play the singer at different stages of her life.

The bio-musical has extended for two weeks and will now run July 18-August 31 at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Belmont University.

Dolly: An Original Musical features some of Parton’s biggest hits, including “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” and “9 to 5,” as well as new songs written by Parton for the musical. The book is by Parton and Maria S. Schlatter (Christmas on the Square). Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza) directs.
