Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the list of performers who will help honor Bernadette Peters at its 2018 fall benefit, set for Monday, November 19, at 583 Park Avenue.

The evening will feature appearances by Kate Baldwin, Danny Burstein, Gavin Creel, Joel Grey, James Lapine, Bob Mackie, Richard Maltby, Jennifer Simard, Michael Urie, and more. The creative team will include Maltby (director), Justin Townsend (lighting design), Dan Gerhard (sound design), and Marvin Laird (musical director).

Peters has been a longtime member of the MTC family since she costarred with Christine Baranski in Sally and Marsha, directed by Lynne Meadow in 1982, at which time she joined the MTC Board. She recently completed a Broadway run as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the recent revival of Hello, Dolly!, and with over a dozen additional Broadway credits to her name, delivered Tony-winning performances in Annie Get Your Gun and Song and Dance. Her other notable Broadway credits include Gypsy, Into the Woods, A Little Night Music, Follies, and Sunday in the Park With George, among others.

In addition to performing, Peters devotes her time to numerous events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, including the annual dog and cat adoption event event Broadway Barks, which she cofounded with Mary Tyler Moore.

The 2018 fall benefit is cochaired by Sue Bovenkerk Slager, Lisa Towbin, and Susan Winter. All proceeds from the event will support MTC's productions, the Artistic Development Program, and the Education Program.
