Jonathan Groff has joined Grammy-nominated soul-pop band Lawrence for a new acoustic version of “My First Real Love,” a song from the Broadway musical Just in Time.

“My First Real Love (acoustic-ish) ft. Jonathan Groff” features Lawrence co-frontwoman Gracie Lawrence and Groff, who starred as Connie Francis and Bobby Darin last year in Just in Time. Both performers received Tony Award nominations for their performances in the musical.

The song is available now via 10K Projects/Atlantic Records, accompanied by a live performance video directed by Gracie Lawrence. Watch below:

The new single is the latest release from Lawrence’s forthcoming EP Office Party, due later this year. The project features collaborations with a different guest artist on each song, including previously released tracks “Feel Like That,” featuring JP Saxe, and “Rain Check,” featuring Quinn XCII.

Lawrence recently performed as a special guest on Charlie Puth’s Whatever’s Clever! World Tour. The band will next headline its Staycation 2026 concerts, with three-night runs at Brooklyn Paramount October 29-31 and Los Angeles’s The Novo November 12-14. The group will also perform with the Colorado Symphony at Denver’s Boettcher Concert Hall September 18.

Just in Time, directed by Alex Timbers, began performances on Broadway in March 2025 at the Circle in the Square Theatre. The musical features Darin’s hits including “Beyond the Sea,” “Mack the Knife,” “Splish Splash,” and “Dream Lover.”
