John McGowan, Kevin Stevens, and More to Star in Big Bang Theory Musical Parody

The unauthorized spoof, featuring book, music, and lyrics by Karlan Judd, is directed by Tristan J. Shuler.

Casting has been announced for The Big Bang Theory: A Pop-Rock Musical Parody, which begins an open run on Wednesday, March 6 at the Anne L. Bernstein Theater.

John McGowan (Sheldon Cooper), Teresa Hui (Amy Farrah-Fowler), Kevin Stevens (Leonard Hofstadter), Bailey McCall Thomas (Penny), Brandon Delsid (Rajesh Koothrappali), Isaac Calvin (Howard Wolowitz), Hannah Bonnett (Bernadette), and Meagan Michelson (Star Trek's Q) will star in the production.

Directed by Tristan J. Shuler, The Big Bang Theory: A Pop-Rock Musical Parody features a book, music, and lyrics by Karlan Judd. The show is described as follows: "The Big Bang Theory's charming and nerdy group of scientists have spent 12 years finding love and experimenting with space-age theory until their lives are turned upside down by their favorite Star Trek character come to life! A hilarious romp through past, present, and future, this pop/rock musical spoofs the gang at their best, their worst, their most musical, and at their absolute wildest. BASINGA!"

The production's creative team will be announced soon. The musical is produced by CNK Theatricals, Nicholas Barnes, and Colleen Taylor.
