Egg & Spoon Theatre Collective announced its fall 2026 season. Since 2017, Egg & Spoon has championed and produced new plays across New York city via mainstage productions, community-focused readings, and workshop presentations.

The season will include the world premiere of The Morbs by Jen Diamond, a 2025-26 member of Clubbed Thumb’s Early Career Writers Group. The play will run October 27–November 21 at A.R.T./New York Theatre’s Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre. The production, directed by Lily Riopelle and produced in partnership with Max Faye and Ali Sousa, marks Diamond’s off-Broadway debut.

The Morbs is a comedy thriller that centers on three best friends from college who find themselves trapped in a cabin during an outbreak of a terrifying illness known as the Morbs.

The season will also include a workshop presentation of Wanna Cyber? (August 14-15 at Loading Dock Theater), an R-rated verbatim play about digital identity in the early 2000s by Serena Berman, co-directed by Berman and Jake Beckhard and presented in partnership with Infinity Soup. The season will conclude with a reading of Matthew Chong’s Charity, directed by Liam Lonegan (details to be announced).
