Torchwood star and Broadway veteran John Barrowman is among the nominees for Britian’s National Television Awards, which will be presented at O2 Arena on January 25, according to published reports. The ceremony, which will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary, will be televised.
Among the series that will be vying for awards are Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, Merlin, Waterloo Road, Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor, and The Apprentice.
Other nominated actors include Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Eve Myles, Jaye Jacobs, Suranne Jones. Martin Clunes and, David Threlfall, as well as talk show hosts Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton.
The awards are decided by a public vote.
