Jeremy Shamos to Star in Anne Washburn's ANON: a Tempest at Our Kitchen Table

MCC Theater announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of ANON: A Tempest at Our Kitchen Table by Anne Washburn.

Directed by Obie Award winner and Tony Award nominee Anne Kauffman, ANON kicks off MCC’s 40th anniversary season and runs September 25-November 1, with an opening night set for October 14, at the Newman Mills Theater at the Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space.

The cast includes Jeff Biehl, Crystal Finn, Andrew Garman, Izabel Mar, and Obie Award winner and Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos.

The production will feature scenic design by Obie Award winner and Tony Award nominee dots, costume design by Obie Award winner and Tony Award nominee Brenda Abbandandolo, lighting design by Obie Award winner Cha See, sound design by Obie Award winner Tei Blow, projection design by Obie Award winner Jared Mezzocchi, and props supervision by Andrew Diaz.

In ANON, when a gay pride flag is unfurled across the street from Jeanie, an increasingly online TikToker in a suburb in Texas, two seemingly different households freak out.
