Jeremy Jordan Puts a Modern Pop Spin on "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'"

This reinterpretation of the Rodgers & Hammerstein ”Oklahoma!” tune is the first music video from the “R&H Goes Pop!” cabaret.

Over the weekend at BroadwayCon, Laura Osnes hosted a special cabaret titled "R&H Goes Pop!", which featured artists like Jelani Alladin, Lilli Cooper, and more performing contemporary takes on classic Rodgers & Hammerstein songs. Today, the cabaret released a music video, introduced by Osnes, featuring Jeremy Jordan (Newsies the Musical, American Son) in a pop-inflected take on Oklahoma!'s "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'." As previously announced, a new reimagined production of Oklahoma! will transfer to Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre after an acclaimed run at St. Ann's Warehouse this past fall. Damon Daunno, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and Ali Stroker, all of whom starred in the St. Ann's Warehouse production, also participated in "R&H Goes Pop!" at BroadwayCon this past weekend.
