The Alanis Morissette musical Jagged Little Pill will open on Broadway this fall, producers Vivek J. Tiwary, Arvind Ethan David, and Eva Price have announced. Dates, theater, casting, and additional information will be revealed in the coming months.

The new musical, which premiered last spring at the American Repertory Theatre, has a score by Morissette and Glen Ballard, with direction by Diane Paulus, a book by Diablo Cody, movement direction and choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and musical supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Tom Kitt. Featured on the creative team are scenic designer Riccardo Hernandez, costume designer Emily Rebholz, lighting designer Justin Townsend, sound designer Jonathan Deans, and video and projection designer Finn Ross. The production features additional music by Mike Farrell & Guy Sigsworth.

Inspired by the album of the same title, Jagged Little Pill is described as follows: "The Healys appear to be a picture-perfect suburban family; but when the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the veneer, or defiantly facing truths about themselves and the world around them."

Atlantic Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of Jagged Little Pill during the show's run. A studio recording of "All I Really Want," performed by the A.R.T. cast, will be released to fans on February 11.
