Sarah Steele, Reed Birney, Jayne Houdyshell, and more fill out the company.
Pulitzer Prize finalist Stephen Karam's The Humans begins performances September 30 at Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theatre in advance of an October 25 opening.
The story follows Erik (played by Tony nominee Reed Birney), who has broken with tradition and brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate Thanksgiving at his daughter's apartment in lower Manhattan. As darkness falls, family tensions reach a peak, and the heart and horrors of the clan are exposed. Cassie Beck, Jayne Houdyshell, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed, and Sarah Steele complete the off-Broadway company. Tony Award winner Joe Mantello directs.
Take a look at a few photos from the rehearsal room before the family drama makes its off-Broadway debut. The limited engagement will run through December 27.
