The world premiere production of Tennessee Williams’ In Masks Outrageous and Austere, which is currently playing at Culture Project, has announced that it will close following the matinee performance on May 13. David Schweizer directs.
In Masks Outrageous and Austere is Williams’ final full length play. In it, the richest woman in the world, her gay husband, and his young lover are thrust into a mystery world, defined by disorientation and paranoia.
The production stars Shirley Knight and also features Scot Charles Anderson, Kaolin Bass, Robert Beitzel, Connor Buckley, Alison Fraser, Christopher Halladay, Ward Horton, Jonathan Kim, Jermaine Miles, Pamela Shaw, and Sam Underwood.
