Heathers The Musical to Welcome More New Cast Members

Heathers The Musical, currently playing at New World Stages through May 24, will welcome several new cast members starting on Monday, January 26.

As previously announced, School Spirits‘s Peyton List will make her off-Broadway musical theater debut, joining the cast on January 26 as Heather Chandler.

Also joining the cast that day are Kate Rockwell, returning to the roles of Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Adam Bashian as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper, Jimmy Ray Bennett as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan, and Thalia Atallah as Drama Club Drama Queen.

Current cast members Jodie Steele (Heather Chandler), Kerry Butler (Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom), Ben Davis (Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper), Cameron Loyal (Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan), and Lav Raman (Drama Club Drama Queen) will play their final performances on Sunday, January 25.

Heathers also currently stars Kuhoo Verma as Veronica Sawyer, Casey Likes as Jason “J.D.” Dean, Jackera Davis as Heather Duke, Elizabeth Teeter as Heather McNamara, Erin Morton as Martha Dunnstock, Xavier McKinnon as Ram Sweeney, and Cade Ostermeyer as Kurt Kelly.

The cast also features Sara Al-Bazali, Emma Benson, James Caleb Grice, Louis Griffin, Devin Lewis, Kiara Michelle Lee, Brian Martin, Syd Sider, and Cecilia Trippiedi.

Based on the 1989 cult film by Daniel Waters, Heathers features book, music, and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe. The production, directed by Andy Fickman, started performances in June 2025.
