Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has released a Liza Minnelli holiday ornament as part of its ongoing Broadway Legends series. The iconic performer is the latest to be celebrated in the series' collection, which also includes figurines of Julie Andrews, Carol Channing, Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera, and Gwen Verdon.
The 6-inch ornament was designed by Glen Hanson with the Christopher Radko Company in the style of her signature 1970s Halston look when she won her second Tony Award for The Act. New York's city lights serve as the figurine's backdrop.
"I’m simply delighted and so honored to be immortalized with such a wonderfully crafted ornament," Minnelli said in a statement. "I'm especially proud to help support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, an organization that has been very dear to my heart for more than two decades."
Minnelli is the recipient of three Tonys, an Oscar, an Emmy, two Golden Globes, and a Grammy Legend Award.
