The event will be presented as part of Brown’s SubCulture residency.
SubCulture has announced the special guest set for composer Jason Robert Brown's upcoming May 21 concert at the venue. Tony- and Olivier-winning actor Gavin Creel (Hello, Dolly!) will join Brown for the event.
"Every month, the list of guests at my SubCulture residency grows to include one more performer who awes and inspires me," said Brown in a statement. "Nobody sings like Gavin Creel, and nobody fills a song with more humanity and joy and passion. I can't wait to make music with him."
Brown's SubCulture concert series is currently in its fourth year. Each performance incorporates a mix of material featuring music from throughout his career, along with new works in development. The series has featured an array of special guests, including Kelli O'Hara, Steve Pasquale, Norbert Leo Butz, Tom Kitt, Tony Danza, Laura Benanti, Cynthia Erivo, Tituss Burgess, Lena Hall, and more.
