Jamie Lloyd’s acclaimed Shakespeare revival first ran in London.

Complete casting has been announced for the Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell-headlined Broadway revival of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Jamie Lloyd.
Fueled by music and dance, Lloyd’s staging, which originated in London’s West End, stars Hiddleston and Atwell as the feuding Benedick and Beatrice. Atwell makes her Broadway debut; Hiddleston was last seen on Broadway in Lloyd’s production of Betrayal.
The comedy will play a 10-week limited run at the Winter Garden Theatre, October 31-January 10. Opening is November 19.
Much Ado About Nothing will also star Mason Alexander Park as Margaret, Mara Huf as Hero, Mika Onyx Johnson as Borachio, Gerald Kyd as Don Pedro, Forbes Masson as Leonato, Phillip Olagoke as Friar Francis, James Phoon as Claudio, and Tim Steed as Don John. This whole company performed the show in the West End.
The design team for Much Ado About Nothing includes Soutra Gilmour (scenic & costume design), Jon Clark (lighting design), Ben and Max Ringham (sound designers & composers), and Fabian Aloise (choreographer).
Our critic at WhatsOnStage called the revival “simply sublime Shakespeare.” The production was nominated for four WhatsOnStage Awards, including Best Direction and Best Play Revival.
