
Washington Shakespeare Company has announced the full cast and creative team for the upcoming production of Red Noses, which will replace Howard Brenton’s The Romans in Britain at the Clark Street Playhouse, June 19-July 20. John Geoffrion will direct the production.
Peter Barnes’ black comedy addresses themes of war, disease, and oppressive hierarchies of power with the help of clowning humor.
The cast will feature John C. Bailey, Frank Britton, Brian Crane, Evan Crump, Kim Curtis, Kevin Finkelstein, Jack Fitzmorris, Kari Ginsberg, Heather Haney, Jay Hardee, Christopher Henley, Melissa Hmelnicky, Erin Kaufman, Matthew Provance, Ellie Nicoll, Joe Palka, Nyk Schmalz, Caitlin Smith, Josh Sticklin, Emily Webbe, and Thomas Wood.
The creative team will include David Crandall, Andrew F. Griffin, and Jennifer Tardiff.
