Estelle Parsons, Justin Long, and More Join the 2015 Williamstown Theatre Festival Season
Williamstown Theatre Festival has released additional casting for its upcoming summer season.
Joining Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Kyra Sedgwick on the Main Stage in William Inge's lost play Off the Main Road will be Becky Ann Baker (Good People, Girls) in her 13th season at WTF, Aaron Costa Ganis (WTF’s Whaddabloodclot!!!), Howard W. Overshown (Julius Caesar), Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons (Bonnie and Clyde), and Mary Wiseman (An Octoroon). Performances are set to run from June 30-July 19.
The world premiere of Dominique Morisseau’s Paradise Blue, running from July 22-August 2, will feature Tony Award nominee De'Adre Aziza (Passing Strange), André Holland (Selma), Keith Randolph Smith (Fences), and Blair Underwood (Sex and the City, A Streetcar Named Desire).
Aaron Costa Ganis and Howard W. Overshown will then join six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and Will Swenson in the cast of A Moon for the Misbegotten, running from August 5-August 23.
On the Nikos Stage, Justin Long will join the cast of Legacy (July 1-July 12), which as previously announced, will also feature Tony nominee Jessica Hecht and Eric Bogosian.
Penny Fuller and Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars) will then join Cynthia Nixon (The Real Thing) on the Nikos Stage in the American premiere of Kinship (July 15-July 25).
The world-premiere musical Unknown Soldier (July 30-August 9) will follow with a cast featuring David Greenspan (The Royal Family), Derek Klena (Wicked), Erik Lochtefeld (Metamorphoses), Estelle Parsons, and Tony nominee Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder).
