Ed Harris to Succeed Jeff Daniels in To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway

Ed Harris will succeed Jeff Daniels in the role of Atticus Finch in the Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, reports the New York Times.
The Times notes that Daniels will play his final performance on November 3, with Harris taking over on November 5. "The production is not confirming," a spokesperson for the show told TheaterMania.
Directed by Bartlett Sher and adapted from Harper Lee's novel by Aaron Sorkin, To Kill a Mockingbird began performances November 1, 2018 and opened December 13 at the Shubert Theatre. It has played to 100 percent capacity or greater since the start of its run, breaking box office records for the venue four times over. It is now the highest-grossing American play in Broadway history.
