Tony Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater is among the featured artists for the new CD, Jumpinjazz Kids- a Swinging Jungle Tale, to be released on September 25, 2012.
The disc celebrates the rich history of Jazz and Popular music by paying tribute to its legendary pioneers through story, song and a variety of musical styles. It also features Al Jarreau and Hubert Laws, and is produced and created by music industry veterans Steve Barta and Mark Oblinger
Bridgewater won the Tony Award for her role in the original Broadway production of The Wiz.
